Walking along a country road one day, a huge lorry whooshed by.
Within the turbulence, something caught my eye,
Tumbling down,
A Dragonfly.
Damaged, it died in my hand.
So sad, I carried it home and kept the delicate creature.
Now I sing her song, so she may dart and dance and defy her abrupt earthly ending.
