English born and bred, I moved to Norway at the birth of the new millenium.  I stayed and started over.  
A new century - a new life.

I cannot boast an impressive education, or add letters after my name that give me professional credibility.
I have no lengthy list of exhibitions.
I am self taught in everything I try to achieve.  
I strive not for success.  
I make things for the love of it.
I simply must.

I like to learn.  
I learn through observation and curiosity.
I endeavour to understand and respond to the natural way of things.
There within are the pre-determined laws of physics that tell us the science of cause and effect, application and result. Redefinition and continuation. Balance to inbalance, to conversion then re-balance. Equations, formulating eternally.

We are a part of a vast creation and we posess an inexpendable need to create. Striving for perfection, we dismiss the value and beauty of faults and failures. There is no perfection without the balance of fault. This is what keeps a creator creating. It is my faults and failures that push me on. Never status quo. I am rarely in balance. I am driven. Continually seeking to express my inner being, to relate to and interpret my existence and that of creation all around me. Endlessly evolving. I harvest inspiration. From a face, a stone, a song, an emotion, life or death, a conversation, or maybe a wisp of winding hair.  This is my life, my realm of existence. My validity. My meaning, my realitiy.

How I feel is an integral part of my work.
I love to sing, not only with my voice, but with melodies from my heart and inner sense of existence.  
It pours out of me and I must harmonise with the notes to create objects that convey my muse.
I invite you to enjoy my overtures.
